Specifications and Materials

The global charge towards net-zero by 2050, and a focus on a circular economy that aims to minimize waste and maximize longevity of products through sustainable practices, has shifted product design to focus on durability, a long-life cycle, and reuse, re-manufacturing, or re-cycling capabilities

Our Australian Made solar bollard lights have been installed in over 40 countries and demonstrates our commitment to consistent product quality, achieved by using only the highest quality raw materials and components available, to deliver a premium industrial grade solar lighting product that:

  • that is fit for purpose
  • has a long operational life cycle, which:
    • reduces operational costs
    • reduces environmental waste
  • is capable of reuse, re-manufacturing, and recycling
  • reduces the end user carbon footprint

Manufacturing and Compliance

A solar lighting product deemed suitable for commercial use must:

  • be manufactured using only the highest grade of components and raw materials
  • be manufactured under a strict ISO9001 QMS
  • be manufactured under the ISO 14001 environment management system which demonstrates, sustainability in the development, transparency, and accountability across all aspects of the manufacturing process.
  • ensure each assembled product:
    • has a consistent high-quality finish
    • has no component defects
    • and the luminaire has perfect optical clarity
  • have product certifications such as photometry, IK, IP, EMC tested and certified through:
    • a NATA accredited laboratory (in Australia and New Zealand) or
    • accreditation bodies that are signatories of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangements certification reports.

Not all countries have stringent accreditation practices of certifying bodies; in some countries you can buy your certification without being audited to ensure you comply with the relevant code.
