This Policy will be reviewed annually or as material changes require review.

RISK POLICY

Solar Bollard Lighting are committed to managing risk in accordance with the process set out in the Australian/New Zealand Joint Standard on Risk Management (AS/NZS ISO 31000:2018). To meet this commitment, risk is to be every employee’s business.

All employees are required to be responsible and accountable for managing risk in so far as is reasonably practicable within their area of responsibility. Sound risk management principles and practices must become part of the normal management strategy for all sites within our business.

The management of risk is to be integrated into Solar Bollard Lighting’s existing planning and project processes and is to be fully recognised in the Quality Management System. Our personnel where possible will avoid risk or minimise risk by:

Identification of risks in planning, projects and service delivery
Identification of likelihood of these risks and their impact on the business and the QMS
Identification of controls to minimise these risks
Identification of effective measurement of these controls
Identification of changes to the business and the impact of change

By adopting these principles, we will manage and contain risks, identify opportunities for improvement and maintain compliance to the Quality Management System.
